Activison a confirmat aparitia unui nou joc din seria Guitar Hero si anume GH : Van Halen. Nu era de mirare ca dupa Mettalica, Activision trebuia sa mentina nivelul ridicat. Astfel, pe langa melodiile marca Van Halen ( in numar de 28 ) noul simulator va mai contine si alte piese apartinand diferitor artisti. Insa inainte de lansarea acestui joc si anume pe 22 Decembrie, Activision va mai scoate pe piata inca trei jocuri in acelasi registru : Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero si Band Hero.
