S-a lansat concursul foto Wiki Loves Monuments

Wikipedia in limba romana si Asociatia ProLinux anunta organizarea in luna septembrie a concursului de fotografie Wiki Loves Monuments Romania 2011. Aceasta competitie este destinata promovarii monumentelor istorice din Romania prin realizarea unor imagini libere ce vor putea fi folosite in cadrul Wikipediei.
Concursul este organizat anul acesta, in 16 tari europene, in perioada 1-30 septembrie 2011, pentru a coincide cu Zilele Europene ale Patrimoniului. Timp de o luna, participantii îsi vor incarca pozele si filmele cu monumente istorice pe biblioteca online Wikimedia Commons sau pe platforma Flickr sub o licenta libera. Colectia de fotografii obtinuta va fi disponibila gratuit pentru toti cei interesati.
Castigatorii concursului din Romania vor fi anuntati la sfarsitul lunii octombrie de catre juriul format din fotografi membri ai Asociatiei Artistilor Fotografi din Romania si un reprezentat al organizatorilor. Pe langa premiile concursului local, acestia vor intra si in competitia pentru premiile oferite la nivel european.
Premiile acordate pentru primii 10 clasati din Romania:
- premiul I – 500 RON si un tricou
- premiul II – 400 RON si un tricou
- premiul III – 300 RON si un tricou
- 7 mentiuni constand intr-un tricou WLM
Participantii se inscriu in acelasi timp si pentru concursul european ca va avea mai multe premii, castigatorii alegandu-le in ordinea punctajului acumulat:
- o excursie la Wikimania 2012 in Washington D.C. (include transportul, cazarea si participarea la conferinta)
- o rama foto Aiptek P8 3D de 20 cm si poza imprimata in aluminiu (40x60cm) oferite de Europeana
- Un zbor de 20 de minute peste cel mai indepartat reper din Vestul Europei, Cabo da Roca din Portugalia (transportul pana acolo nu este inclus)
- Un abonament pe un an la www.guygowan.com, un site cu tutoriale despre editarea foto si un DVD Guy Gowan
